Devops Manager

We are currently hiring a Devops Lead to be based in either Finland, Sweden or Germany!

Your mission

As a DevOps Lead, you will strengthen Epassi’s technology foundation and accelerate delivery of secure, high-quality, scalable services across Europe. You will lead and mentor a growing DevOps team, evolve our CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, and shape DevSecOps and AI-assisted engineering practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the DevOps team; foster collaboration, learning, and high performance
  • Own and evolve cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable automated delivery
  • Drive DevSecOps practices; embed security throughout the software lifecycle
  • Introduce and scale AI-assisted engineering practices to improve productivity and quality
  • Partner with engineering, product, and security on priorities, architecture, and best practices
  • Ensure observability, reliability, and performance via monitoring and incident management
  • Champion automation and resilience; reduce operational toil and bottlenecks
  • Contribute to long-term technology strategy and platform decisions

What you bring

  • Several years of hands-on DevOps experience in a modern software environment
  • Experience leading or mentoring DevOps/SRE/Platform teams (scaling environment preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of cloud, IaC, containers, CI/CD, and observability
  • Experience with DevSecOps and secure software lifecycle practices
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools/workflows (coding, testing, automation)
  • Pragmatic mindset and strong stakeholder collaboration skills

2024Epassi acquires Smartum, a pioneer in promoting employee well-being in Finland.

2025Epassi continues to grow in Germany by acquiring i-gb (Initiative - Gesunder Betrieb GmbH), a leading provider of motivational employee benefit solutions in Germany.
