About the position
We are looking for a Norwegian medical translator to join our Translations team, supporting our Nordic growth. The position is a part-time (60 % working time) 12 months fixed-term employment. The fixed-term employment may be converted into a permanent position based on an evaluation after 12 months. Oriola translation services are a part of Oriola Advisory services helping pharmaceutical companies succeed with tailored services across the entire product lifecycle. In this role, you will handle a wide variety of medical, regulatory and pharmaceutical texts in close collaboration with Oriola's pharmaceutical industry experts. The position can be based in Denmark, Sweden, or Finland.
Skills & Requirements
Personal and experience Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or a degree in another relevant field
- At least 3 years of experience translating and reviewing medical and pharmaceutical texts from English to Norwegian
- Excellent proficiency in Norwegian and English; additional language skills are considered an advantage
- Previous experience working in or with the pharmaceutical industry or in other health care companies is an asset
- Strong IT skills and experience using translation memory tools
- Ability to work independently and proactively as part of a translation team
