Accountant - Summer Trainee

Adapteo is looking for a Summer Trainee to join our Group Finance team in Vantaa.
In this role, you will support the O2C and P2P processes of selected Adapteo subsidiaries and gain hands-on experience at an international, fastgrowing company. Our Group Finance team provides expertise to all Adapteo entities across several countries and plays a central role in our head office finance function. You’ll be part of a skilled team that values learning, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Process invoices and support timely payments
- Monitor incoming payments, perform collection activities, and assist with dispute management
- Contribute to the accuracy of financial records
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners to resolve invoice or paymentrelated inquiries
- Assist with other finance-related tasks
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Skills & Requirements
Your background
We are looking for a trainee with studies in finance, accounting or a related field. Previous experience in finance tasks and a basic understanding of accounting principles is considered an advantage. You are eager to learn and proactive in your approach. You are detail-oriented, organized and able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders. A positive mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team will help you succeed. Fluent English is required, and skills in Finnish and/or Swedish are considered an advantage.
