Built on a legacy of quality and innovation, we are seeking a Sales Operations Intern to join our team and support our continued growth. This position reports to the Sales Operations Senior Lead and will work in our Plymouth, Massachusetts office.

This role will be involved in planning a year's worth of sales proposals for Five Below. Key deliverables will include competitor analyses, sales decks, and quoting.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Over the first month of the internship, the Sales Operations intern will focus on competitor analyses. For 2 weeks, they will look at what Coolgear has done with Five Below, find patterns in their selections, and draw conclusions about what Five Below is looking for from Coolgear. For the next 2 weeks, they will focus on Five Below themselves, shopping their stores and ecomm to find where Coolgear can fit and why.

The second month of the internship will be program building. Given their analyses from the first month, the Sales Operations Intern will dive into Coolgear product and make recommendations per program for Five Below. The Sales Operations Intern will create programs for the entire year: New Year New You (active), Valentine's Day, St Patrick's Day, Easter, Spring Summer, 4th of July, Back to School, Halloween, and Holiday. The recommendations will be presented to the Sales and Product Development teams.

Taking any feedback from the Sales and PD teams, the third month will consist of deck building, quoting, and program finalization.

The ideal candidate for this role shall have the following qualification and experiences:

  • Must be a current student or recent graduate of a university or college. Minimum of a rising sophomore level.
  • Coursework related to the internship role (e.g. Marketing, Business Administration)
  • Experience in retail sales

To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics:

  • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in tools or software relevant to the role (e.g., Microsoft Office)
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability skills
