Role Overview

The Key Account Supervisor is responsible for supporting KAM in planning and executing sales business strategies for key accounts and maintaining strong operational relationships with key accounts in China. The primary focus is to ensure the smooth day-to-day delivery of sales to modern trade, driving both volume, value and service excellence. This role acts as a vital link between the customer’s operational teams and T&G’s internal function teams. Another priority to explore and develop sales business with key accounts not currently in partnership with T&G.

Job Description

The Key Account Supervisor will need to:

  • Execute and monitor sales business plans for specific key accounts across modern trade, including without limitation supermarkets, convenience, e-commerce
  • Maintain regular contact with key account buyers and category managers to ensure T&G is the preferred supplier for targeted categories
  • Support the KAM in developing business development plans and take ownership of the tactical execution of these plans
  • Identify and execute sales opportunities at the store or region level to maximize sales performance
  • Assist KAM in setting and tracking financial targets by customer and product line
  • Ensure all administrative and accounting processes related to the assigned accounts are accurate and timely
  • Monitor customer payment status and assist in debt collection if required
  • Prepare detailed reports on key financials, including sales revenue, margin, and product performance
  • Track the effectiveness of promotional activities and provide feedback for future improvements
  • Drive day-to-day sales growth to meet and exceed monthly and seasonal sales business plan
  • Prepare sales forecasts and provide real-time market feedback to KAM and other function teams
  • Prepare presentation materials for key accounts meetings and internal business reviews
  • Cooperate closely with T&G supply chain team to align supply with key accounts requirements
  • Coordinate with marketing team to execute offline, online and omni-channel promotional activities
  • Provide timely updates to internal stakeholders regarding fruit quality, market trends, and competitor activity
  • Comply with all company safety procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Encourage the reporting of all incidents and near misses through the appropriate company channels

Skills & Requirements

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Experience in FMCG, fruit industry or from management trainee program.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in key account management, sales, or customer relationship management.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to handle complex client expectations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to speak in English (verbal and written).
