Data Manager – Content Data🚀
Are you our new Data Manager for Content Data?
Content data is central to Schibsted’s ability to understand and improve journalism and content at scale. By enabling reliable, comparable data across articles, live feeds, video, audio, and live sports on all Schibsted news sites, Content Data directly supports editorial decisions that affect millions of users every day!
The work done in this domain shapes how stories are produced, distributed, and experienced - helping ensure high-quality journalism.
Over the past years, Content Data has evolved significantly. The team has moved away from fragmented, brand-specific analytics toward a domain-oriented, data mesh–aligned model. The focus shifted from ad‑hoc reporting to durable, well-owned data products that teams can trust and build on. The challenge ahead is to balance standardisation with new development by creating interoperable and consistent content data products.
👩‍💻 What will you do in this role?
This is a business‑critical leadership role.
You will take ownership of the content data domain, lead a multidisciplinary team, and act as the key interface between Content Development, Performance teams, Data Enablement, and editorial stakeholders.
You will combine strategic direction with hands-on execution, ensuring that content data products are valuable, usable, and built to last.
