Front Desk Receptionist

Front Desk Receptionist Role:
The Front Desk Receptionist will provide a professional and positive experience while assisting patients with check-in and check-out procedures, verifying current information, and obtaining updated paperwork when necessary.
Greet patients and visitors in a warm, friendly, and helpful manner
Maintain the reception area
Schedule and confirm appointments and consultations via phone
Answer and screen calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
Take credit card payments as needed, including payments for QuickBooks products and services (prior experience preferred; training provided if needed)
Discuss surgical quotes with patients via phone and email
Print and distribute faxes and mail
Maintain strict confidentiality at all times

Skills & Requirements

Front Desk Receptionist Background Profile:
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of related experience
Comfortable with and computer literate
Experience with EMR software preferred
Familiarity with QuickBooks or payment systems a plus
Excellent customer service skills, both over the phone and in person
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Professional and polished demeanor and appearance
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
