The Network Engineer is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of the organization’s network infrastructure. This role ensures reliable network operations, manages upgrades, oversees vendor coordination, and supports new construction projects with technical network planning. CCIE certification is mandatory.
Skills & Requirements
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network systems.
- Diagnose network issues and provide fast, clear solutions.
- Manage installation, maintenance, cabling, and equipment placement.
- Evaluate new technologies, products, and standards for network improvements.
- Perform network upgrades, repairs, and performance monitoring.
- Conduct site visits and support network planning for new locations and construction.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve hardware and circuit issues.
- Document network issues, processes, and infrastructure changes.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and career development for team members.
- Assist during emergencies or events and travel to field sites as needed
- CCIE (written and practical) – mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- 6+ years of network design and implementation experience.
- Strong expertise in Cisco technologies, VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, L2/L3 VPN, and ISIS.
- Ability to manage vendors and lead technical teams.
- Strong troubleshooting, planning, and documentation skills.
