Job Description:
- Perform technical program or project management across a variety of Commercial Patient Services projects.
- Project Planning and Management:
- Create project charter including scope, objectives, team, stakeholders and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules and resource allocation.
- Define clear performance indicators to track project progress and success.
- Monitor project progress along with performance indicators and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
- Agile Project Management Facilitation:
- Serve as a facilitator for agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, scrum of scrum call and sprint / release retrospection.
- Promote and support agile methodologies within the team, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Team Coordination and Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and BTS management.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Remove obstacles blocking team progress and enhance team productivity.
- Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle.
- Develop mitigation strategies and coordinate the resolution of issues as they arise.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders.
- Communicate project status, updates, and insights to stakeholders regularly.
- Gather stakeholder feedback and incorporate it into project planning and execution.
- Release Management:
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements in compliance with AbbVie DevOps / IT SLC standards.
- Ensure all the projects stage gates are completed on time for successful deployment
- Ensure pre-deployment and post-deployment activities are successfully completed
- Ensure handoff to operations team is comprehensively completed, including functional & technical KT, SOP creation & approval, hypercare, etc.
- Technical Understanding:
- Possess a solid understanding of technical concepts to effectively manage and communicate with development teams.
- Ensure technical feasibility and alignment with overall project goals.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Post project completion, conduct a post-mortem or lessons learnt with project and technical teams to analyze the success and areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and technical teams to create tech depts to enhance the systems efficiency and effectiveness.
- Deliver the following outcomes as part of the Agile Technical Project Management Service:
- Agile Project Management Facilitation
- Outcome: Facilitate agile ceremonies effectively to ensure team adherence to agile methodologies and best practices.
- Performance Metric:
- Conduct 100% of scheduled agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning) with documented outcomes and action points.
- Team Coordination and Collaboration:
- Outcome: Enhance team productivity through effective communication and collaboration.
- Performance Metric:
- Report a reduction of at least 70% in team-reported obstacles within each project cycle.
- Achieve a minimum 90% satisfaction rate from team members in periodic collaboration and communication surveys.
- Risk and Issue Management:
- Outcome: Proactively manage risks and issues to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Performance Metric:
- Identify and document 100% of known risks and issues.
- Resolve 90% of critical risks/issues within two weeks of identification.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Outcome: Maintain effective stakeholder relationships and communication.
- Performance Metric:
- Deliver project status updates to stakeholders with 100% on-time delivery.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback into planning and execution with at least 90% acceptance rate on adjustments.
- Release Management:
- Outcome: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with AbbVie DevOps/IT SLC standards.
- Performance Metric:
- Complete 100% of pre-deployment, post-deployment activities, and project stage gates on time.
- Achieve zero critical incidents post-deployment within the hypercare period
- The provider should deliver Agile Technology Project Management services in accordance with AbbVie's standards. The scope of services shall include:
- Utilizing AbbVie standard tools, including JIRA, Smartsheet, and Power BI, for project management and reporting purposes.
- Completing all assigned AbbVie Software Life Cycle (SLC) trainings to maintain compliance.
- Utilize the Agile Portfolio Management Playbook of Patient Services BTS team
Work Schedule (Define days,# of hours)/ Is Overtime offered or required? If yes, how many hours, what impact to scheduled working hours? – Weekly 40 hours, no overtime offered, 5 days a week, 3 days at onsite – ABV1 office – (Tuesday to Thursday). On specific need basis, might ask for an additional day (adhoc) depending on project need.
