We’re AmTrust International, an insurance business headquartered in London, with offices across the UK and employing more than 1900 people in 13 countries. As part of a global group, we work creatively to develop bespoke insurance solutions for leading financial institutions, retailers and manufacturers both internationally and globally.
We are currently looking for a Property Underwriter to join our London-based team.
You will be responsible for underwriting a profitable Property portfolio in line with the business plan, while playing a key role in maintaining and organically growing existing relationships and supporting the development of new business opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you will need experience in Property Underwriting, with strong technical knowledge of Property policy wordings and a proven track record of managing and improving portfolio performance. You will demonstrate a data‑driven and analytical mindset, with experience producing MI and reports, and confidence using Excel, Power BI and other analytical tools. Strong communication and relationship management skills are essential, and experience within the Lloyd’s market is preferred.
