Our company goal is "#1 Security Experience in the World", and as a Senior UX Researcher, you'll be at the vanguard of making that happen. You'll provide our product organization with key qualitative insights that define our future product portfolio, working within a Design function that includes dedicated chapters for UX design, Service design, and Visual design.
During this 18-month maternity leave replacement, you'll be the main point of contact for our UX research practice and operations. You'll lead research efforts from planning through to insight delivery, working closely with our design chapters to strengthen our data-driven decision making. Your work will directly influence how we protect millions of people from modern cyber threats.
This role is based in the Helsinki region of Finland, and we work in a hybrid setting.

Our Hiring Process
At F-Secure we want to be efficient and transparent in our recruiting. Below is the process you can expect for this role. Our aim is to move quickly through the steps and ideally to have a weekly cadence in our process.
👋 Introduction stage
30-minute call with the hiring manager. This call is an introduction to the role and F-Secure.
👋 Team interview stage
60-minute call with our Director of Design, Lars Nordqvist and other members of our Design Function. This call consists of an overview of your past projects and experiences (including accomplishments achieved and challenges you have overcome) and a conversation about your preferred approach to UX research.
👋 Final interview stage
60-minute collaborative exercise where you can demonstrate in practice how you would go about setting up research operations, your preferred methodologies, and go-to metrics for measuring success. This call is a chance for us to collaborate; to see you in action, and to get a small sample of what working together would be like. We will provide you with a fictive scenario for you to sink your teeth in, and then we’ll roleplay it out.
