Program Manager

We are looking for a Program Manager to work in our customer's office at Helsinki!
In this role, you would work close to our customer's multi functional teams. Preferably you would work mainly at the customer's premises in Helsinki, even though at Etteplan we do have the possibility to work in a hybrid model. Your role would include agile project management duties (SAFe) as well as involvement in the management of the customer's project portfolio. You would lead by example and ensure that there is a good working environment for the project to make great things happen.
Your responsibilities in this role would be:
- Ensure and carry out actions in order that the project is meeting defined targets on time, on cost, and on quality
- Ensure that good and timely communication takes place between internal and external stakeholders
- Measure the performance of the project and the suppliers and act on timely manner
- Monitor and detect possible bottlenecks that prevent projects to progress efficiently, and implement impactful actions
- Ensure that KPI follow-up in project is systematic, and identified actions are implemented
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes, and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with project management standards, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with needed functions to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives
We appreciate if you have:
- A minimum of 10 years of project management experience, preferably in an R&D setting or IT
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
- Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Experience in vendor management - oversight of vendors and contractors
- Experience in working with remote or distributed teams
Requirements:
- Physical presence at customer's office (Helsinki)
- Basic security clearance approval from Finnish authorities
- Excellent Finnish & English skills
