Marketing Coordinator - Americas

A bit about the role:

The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of integrated B2B and B2C marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, lead generation, partner engagement, and revenue growth for HX expeditions. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, strong communicator, proactive marketer who understands the unique dynamics of adventure travel, high-value customers, and trade partnerships.

Working closely with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Product, Global Creative Studio (Internal), Finance, Revenue Management and external partners—the Marketing Coordinator ensures marketing programs are delivered on time, on brand, and with measurable impact.

Note: This is a 6 months temporary contract

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign & Project Coordination

  • Assist in planning, developing, and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns targeted at both consumers and travel trade partners
  • Work with Senior Manager of Campaigns to draft clear and actionable creative briefs for internal creative teams and external agencies
  • Manage project timelines, ensuring deliverables stay on schedule and all stakeholders are aligned
  • Coordinate production and distribution of marketing assets such as brochures, digital content, trade materials, and promotional campaigns

B2C Marketing Support

  • Support customer acquisition initiatives across digital, social, email, and print channels
  • Assist with identification of website issues/updates and creation of Jira’s in support of market level website updates
  • Collaborate on social media content calendars and support market level efforts

B2B / Trade Marketing Support

  • Coordinate marketing programs and co-op initiatives with strategic travel partners, travel agents, and consortia
  • Manage co-op marketing tracking, deliverables, deadlines, and reporting requirements to ensure full accountability and ROI
  • Support the development of trade-facing collateral and creative briefs for sales sheets, training decks, and partner communication

Operations & Budget Management

  • Create and submit purchase orders (POs); track invoices and marketing expenses to ensure accurate budgeting
  • Maintain organized documentation for contracts, creative assets, campaign specs, and partner agreements
  • Support ongoing reporting, performance tracking, and KPIs across channels and partner programs

Relationship Management

  • Serve as a key point of coordination between internal teams, creative vendors, digital agencies, media partners, and travel industry partners
  • Help support relationships with expedition leaders, onboard staff, and field operations to ensure marketing aligns with product realities and guest experience

Data & Reporting

  • Compile data for weekly and monthly marketing reports, dashboards, and partner recaps
  • Track campaign results and provide insights that help improve future marketing performance
  • Assist with CRM-related tasks such as segmentation, database hygiene, and deployment coordination

Skills & Requirements

About you:

·2–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in travel, hospitality, adventure tourism, or cruise

·Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

·Excellent writing skills with experience developing briefs, marketing copy, and partner communications

·Familiarity with marketing tools such as CMS platforms, email marketing systems, social media schedulers, and project management tools. (Jira, click-up, sales force, taxi, jellyfish, etc.)

·Understanding of B2B and B2C marketing mechanics, including paid media, digital campaigns, and trade marketing

·Budget tracking and PO management experience desired

·A passion for exploration, science, conservation, and experiential travel is a plus

Salary for this is a non-exempt position $30-34 per hour USD/CAD plus uncapped Sales Incentive Plan.
