We are currently hiring a Business Development Manager to be based in Helsinki

Your mission at Epassi:

As Business Development Manager, you will drive the successful creation and launch of new business ventures and products for Epassi Finland, while accelerating revenue growth and product-market fit in selected existing business areas. You ensure commercial, customer, operational, and regulatory needs are embedded from early development through launch and scaling.

You act as the key coordinator between business, product, technology, sales, marketing, operations, and group stakeholders—turning strategy into execution and measurable business impact. You’ll report to the Country CEO.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Own commercialization and revenue growth of new ventures and selected existing product areas in Epassi Finland.
  • Identify growth opportunities (new use cases, segments, partnerships, monetization models) within the current portfolio.
  • Define objectives, revenue targets, success metrics, timelines, and governance for initiatives.
  • Ensure business, customer, regulatory, and operational requirements are built into product development and continuous improvement.
  • Lead end-to-end initiatives from concept and planning to launch, scaling, and optimization.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across sales, marketing, product, technology, finance, legal, operations, and group stakeholders.
  • Support go-to-market readiness including pricing, packaging, sales enablement, and internal training.
  • Monitor performance post-launch and drive improvements based on data and customer feedback.

You’ll be successful in this role if you:

  • Launch new ventures/products on time, on scope, and with clear commercial ownership.
  • Deliver measurable revenue growth and improved product-market fit in existing business areas.
  • Create clarity and momentum in complex, cross-functional initiatives (clear priorities, milestones, and risk management).
  • Achieve agreed adoption, revenue, and customer impact targets through strong execution and follow-through.

What you’ll be doing (daily):

  • Build business cases, financial models, and revenue forecasts; assess opportunities and performance.
  • Translate strategy and business needs into clear requirements, priorities, and roadmaps with product/tech teams.
  • Run cross-functional planning sessions and steering meetings; coordinate deliverables and dependencies.
  • Track progress, risks, and commercial results; provide structured updates and decision materials.
  • Collect customer feedback and performance insights to prioritize improvements and new features.

What you should bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems).
  • 5+ years’ experience in business development, consulting, product management, venture building, strategy, or similar roles with revenue responsibility.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to launch and scaling.
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market planning, pricing/packaging, and commercial execution.
  • Experience working with product and technology teams in agile or hybrid environments.
  • Comfortable in matrix organizations and in building structure amid ambiguity.
  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, payments, HR tech, digital platforms, or employee benefits is highly valued; regulated environments are a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM, BI, and product analytics tools for data-driven decisions.

  • Delivering revenue growth through new initiatives and/or scaling existing products or business areas.
  • Leading complex stakeholder landscapes and aligning teams to deliver outcomes.
  • Using data and customer insight to improve adoption, value, and commercial performance.
