We’re looking for an experienced and visionary Solutions Architect to take ownership of our Content Delivery Network (CDN). This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll oversee the strategic direction, technical execution, and operational excellence of our CDN.

🔧 Your Mission
As a CDN Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, planning, and implementing our next‑generation CDN solutions. Working closely with Engineering, Product, and Operations, you will ensure our platforms are scalable, secure, and high‑performing. You will collaborate daily with development teams—often in English—to drive improvements, align on technical decisions, and guarantee seamless integration across the entire infrastructure.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

🧭 Architecture & Technical Design

• Architect scalable and resilient CDN solutions aligned with product and business needs.
• Translate requirements into robust technical designs and architecture patterns.
• Define best practices for distributed systems, global caching, traffic routing, and performance optimization.

🛠️ Implementation & Integration

• Collaborate directly with development teams (in English) to implement improvements, validate designs, and deliver high‑quality features.
• Integrate new CDN capabilities into existing cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem infrastructures.
• Lead version upgrades, migrations, and compatibility checks.

🧪 Testing & Validation

• Define and execute strategies for performance, scalability, and reliability testing.
• Work closely with QA to strengthen automated test coverage and release stability.
• Perform end-to-end validation of CDN workflows and new functionalities.

🔐 Security & Best Practices

• Apply secure‑by‑design principles across the entire engineering lifecycle.
• Participate in security code reviews and risk assessments.
• Integrate automated security tools (SAST, dependency scanning) into CI/CD pipelines.

🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Product Management to refine requirements and design scalable solutions.
• Support Operations with deployments, troubleshooting, and monitoring improvements.
• Assist Sales and Pre‑Sales in technical customer engagements and proof‑of‑concepts.

📊 Operational Excellence

• Produce high‑quality technical documentation and architectural diagrams.
• Contribute to KPIs related to performance, availability, and operational efficiency.
• Promote continuous improvement in architecture standards, automation, and observability practices.

📌 Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or infrastructure, with at least 3 years in architecture roles.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, IP networking, and the HTTP protocol.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus Kubernetes deployments.
• Solid understanding of CDN technologies, caching layers, reverse proxies, and edge infrastructure.
• Proven experience working closely with development teams to implement improvements.
• High level of English proficiency (spoken and written) to communicate effectively with international engineering teams.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

• Experience with CDN products, video streaming, or global low‑latency systems.
• Knowledge of advanced routing algorithms, anti‑piracy technologies, or multi‑CDN strategies.
• Experience with hybrid cloud + on‑prem setups.
• Background in C++ or other low-level/system languages.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field.
