We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Salesforce Solution specialist and process consultant to act as a critical bridge between our business design specifications and the technical development team.

As part of an international team, you will contribute to the Kela Eepos project. Kela Eepos is, without exaggeration, Finland’s most impactful strategic development program, affecting society at large. As a key part of this development initiative, Kela is renewing its benefit processing information systems to meet customer requirements in the digital operating environments of the 2030s. Over the next ten years, interactions between customers, partners, and Kela will become significantly easier through automation, and in some cases, the need for interaction may even disappear entirely.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that our envisioned customer experience and processes are translated accurately and efficiently onto the Salesforce platform. You will leverage your deep Salesforce expertise to validate designs, assess technical feasibility, and collaborate with developers to identify optimal solutions, overcome technical hurdles, and accelerate delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the primary Salesforce subject matter expert (SME) for the Business Design and Process design team, providing authoritative guidance on platform capabilities, best practices, and limitations.
  • Solution Validation: Review business requirements, user stories, and process designs to confirm their technical feasibility within the Salesforce ecosystem. Challenge assumptions and ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and maintainable.
  • Technical Liaison: Collaborate closely with the development partner to review, interpret, and refine technical solutions. Ensure development efforts are in precise alignment with the original business intent and design specifications.
  • Alternative Solutioning: Proactively identify and propose alternative solutions, workarounds, or configuration-based approaches when initial development paths are presented as complex or unfeasible. Champion "clicks-not-code" solutions where appropriate.
  • Problem Solving & Unblocking: Facilitate productive technical discussions to resolve implementation challenges. Troubleshoot and unblock development progress by offering expert-level insights into Salesforce declarative features, custom development patterns, and integration capabilities.
  • Accelerate Delivery: Help streamline the development lifecycle by providing clear, technically-grounded feedback, thereby reducing rework and clarifying ambiguity between the business vision and technical execution.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear documentation on solution designs, technical decisions, and feasibility assessments to ensure alignment and serve as a reference for future phases.
  • Process & Design: Clear understanding of process definition, clarifying requirements and bringing them into the SFDC context
  • Other: Public sector and SFDC PSS experience, and working with UX and CX designers is considered a plus
