For over 35 years, F-Secure has led the cybersecurity industry with our 200+ service provider partners. As the home of scam protection, we're reimagining how we protect people from modern threats through cutting-edge scam detection and solutions that are setting the industry standard. We bring together the sharpest minds of cyber security with a shared purpose: to protect people from modern threats. Here, you’ll have a real impact, making every digital moment more secure for everyone. You’ll thrive and grow in our Fellowship culture, where we dream big, trust, and challenge each other to deliver results and move with speed. You’ll be welcomed into a diverse, global team with an informal and collaborative culture where your voice truly matters.

Join us in securing the digital world together – where your work will make a lasting impact.

We’re looking for an experienced Business Talent Partner to join F-Secure for approximately 9-month maternity cover. In this role, you’ll support our Technology and Product organizations and own our Continuous Learning “product” — one of our core People & Culture focus areas.

You’ll be closely embedded in the business. You’ll sit as part of both the Technology and Product management teams, join their weekly leadership discussions, and shape talent topics with full context of priorities, trade-offs, and strategy. This closeness to the business is what makes the role meaningful: you see where decisions come from and can directly influence how people, skills, and teams evolve in practice.

Part of out Talent Partnership team, you’ll operate in a matrix setup with trusted Site Talent Partners in India and Malaysia as well as the wider P&C Team. You’ll bring regular leadership context to the sites and HR initiatives, help translate strategy into local actions, and bring insights back to the management teams so our talent approach stays grounded in reality across locations.

You’ll report to the Director of Talent Partnerships and work closely with the CTO and Product leadership team. We’re open to this role being done as a freelance or contractor assignment as well — in that case, please include your preferred invoicing rate in the application form.

Note: Due to this being a fixed-term position we are not sponsoring relocations to Helsinki, Finland for the role.

Key responsibilities:

Business talent partnering for Technology & Product

You’ll work hand-in-hand with Technology and Product leaders on the people topics that matter most right now and in the near future. This includes workforce planning, succession planning, leadership capability, and team effectiveness. You’ll support strategic hiring decisions together with Talent Acquisition team, especially where role clarity and long-term impact matter most.

You’ll also act as a trusted partner for leaders in performance topics, team dynamics, and complex people situations, and you’ll support talent review processes with a strong focus on turning discussions into concrete follow-ups.

Continuous Learning (key focus area)

Continuous Learning is one of our core People & Culture focus areas, and during this cover you’ll lead its direction and day-to-day progress. Our learning ecosystem is built around the 70–20–10 model:

  • 70% Practice: learning through real work, stretch assignments, and on-the-job challenges
  • 20% Connect: learning through peers, mentoring, coaching, and communities
  • 10% Learn: structured learning like courses and certifications

Your role is to continue developing and running this ecosystem in a way that works for real people in real roles — not just in theory. That means understanding what different teams do, what “good” looks like in those roles, and what skills we’ll need next (not only what we needed last year).

You’ll build development paths and learning experiences that connect clearly to our career frameworks and competency work, while keeping an eye on future skills, business priorities, and what Fellows are aiming for in their own growth. This work includes our AI Academy, where we focus on building practical AI skills that support both current work and future capability needs.

Internal mobility is part of this too: helping create the conditions where people can see opportunities, have good career conversations, and move within the organization when there’s a fit — without it becoming a heavy process. You’ll also run our Rising Stars (HiPo) program and help high-potential talent take their next steps.

Leadership development & organizational support

You’ll coach managers on everyday leadership challenges such as feedback, performance, and team dynamics. You’ll support organizational transformation initiatives when needed, and partner with leadership on succession topics to ensure continuity and readiness.

What are we looking for?

  • Around 5+ years in a Business Talent Partner, HR Business Partner, or similar role in a software product company
  • Strong understanding of technology roles and competencies (a background in talent acquisition is a plus)
  • Experience working with learning & development, capability building, or similar initiatives
  • Proven experience partnering closely with senior leaders and management teams
  • Comfortable using data to support decisions and identify risks
  • Exposure to AI-enabled HR or learning tools — in this role you’ll also have full access to Claude as part of your day-to-day work
  • Full professional proficiency in English (our working language)

A few personal traits that are valued in this role

  • You think strategically but are comfortable getting hands-on when needed
  • You’re calm in ambiguity and don’t need everything to be fully defined to move forward
  • You can challenge and coach leaders in a constructive, respectful way
  • You balance empathy with clarity and directness
  • You’re curious about how AI and new tools can genuinely improve how people learn and grow
  • You collaborate easily across functions while owning your areas independently

What will you get from us?

  • Welcome to the good side – the home of scam protection! Work with industry-leading experts defining the future of cybersecurity and scam protection.
  • Thrive in our Fellowship culture where we empower, trust, challenge, and support each other in doing our best work.
  • Flexible work that works for you – hybrid and remote options with team-agreed ways of working.
  • Inclusive environment with flat, approachable leadership in our diverse global community.
  • Comprehensive global benefits including Employee Share Savings Plan (ESSP), Fellow Member of the Board opportunities, and Annual Protect & Educate paid volunteer day.
  • Wellbeing support through personal coaching services and one hour per week for personal recharging.
  • Continuous growth via F-Secure Academy, Leadership programs, AI training, mentoring, and dedicated Learning Week.

Our local benefits include extensive health care, remote working, company supported sport activities, lunch vouchers, regular massages and sauna at the premises and many more things to keep our best asset – people - happy!

A security vetting will be conducted for the selected candidate in accordance to our employment process.
