Role Overview
The Solution Consultant – Global Consulting will implement Basware solutions for customers, ensuring adherence to country-specific requirements while delivering seamless AP automation. The role spans design, build, testing, and post-go-live support, requiring strong implementation expertise and customer engagement skills.
Compliance Focus
This role demands a proactive approach to regulatory compliance, ensuring that all configurations, integrations, and workflows meet local statutory requirements such as e-invoicing, e-reporting, and tax mandates. The consultant will act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through compliance best practices while embedding these requirements into the solution design and delivery process.
Design Phase
- Analyse existing integration rules and formats.
- Design field updates and mapping for AP Automation and Network integrations.
- Support API notification and E-Reporting content mapping.
Build & SIT (System Integration Testing)
- Configure invoicing addresses, endpoints, and entity settings in Network and AP Automation
- Update import configuration files and mapping for new fields and business rules.
- Execute end-to-end testing, document findings, and propose resolutions.
- Implement E-Invoicing, lifecycle setup, E-Reporting, Directory API, and portal entity registration.
UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
- Prepare test scenarios and plans.
- Support customer UAT, identify defects, and document findings.
- Analyse issues, develop fixes, and ensure resolution documentation.
Move to Production
- Prepare and execute Go-Live activities.
- Ensure smooth transition and readiness for production.
Hypercare (Post-Go-Live Support)
- Provide support for reported issues during Hypercare phases.
- Identify and resolve defects, document resolutions, and ensure system stability.

Skills & Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Implementation or Solution Consultant in ERP/AP automation projects.
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes and workflows.
- Hands-on experience with system configuration, data mapping, and integration (APIs, SFTP, REST).
- Familiarity with e-invoicing standards and reporting frameworks.
- Ability to manage workshops, testing phases, and customer training. ·Strong documentation and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum 2 years of implementation experience in ERP or AP automation projects.
- Experience with Basware or similar AP automation platforms.
- Exposure to multi-country implementations with varying compliance mandates.
- Knowledge of digital and custom delivery methodologies.
- Experience with AI tools, frameworks, or applications is considered a strong asset.
