We’re now looking for a Data Architect to join our Bucharest team. As a Data Architect, you will bridge complex ERP landscapes with Sievo’s procurement analytics platform and help the world’s largest companies turn procurement data into real impact!

About the role

Data Architects work in a key role interacting with internal stakeholders all over the company; the key functions being sales, customer operations, and project implementation teams.

For sales, the added value of Data Architects is to understand the client data landscapes and figure out needed technologies in order for us to build sustainable integrations between the client’s ERPs and Sievo.

With project teams, the goal is to make the process of implementation go as fluently as possible by aiding with the architectural design of the ETL and sometimes building new and exciting features to the data model. Some of these features might not have been done before, so you get to be creative while balancing it with the boundaries of the solution.

As a Data Architect, you will

• Work with our Sales team to identify the prospects’ technical requirements and suggest an integration strategy
• Help our Data Engineers to crack complex integration challenges during implementation phase and continuous services
• Define and streamline integration processes and best practices
• Observe and translate our clients’ latest developments to identify future needs
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure Sievo’s integration capabilities
• Bring your expertise and be ready to share it <3

About You

We expect that you have:

• Solid understanding of the “ins and outs” of one of the major ERPs either on-prem or Cloud-based, such as SAP, Oracle EBS, JDEdwards, D365, Navision
• Eagerness and enthusiasm towards cloud technologies, interest to keep up with the latest cloud tech trends
• Experience in SQL
• Experience with business processes and customer work in B2B context
• Ability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical audiences
• Responsibility and ownership
• Ability to adapt to rapid market changes and learn things quickly
• Fluency in English

Extra points for

• Experience in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Data Lake
• Knowledge of procure to pay “P2P”
• Experience in Python
• Experience with REST APIs
