Our Legal Department plays a key role in supporting the growth and operational excellence of our business while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. To strengthen our team in Toulouse, we are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to support our La Palette Rouge (LPR) division.
About the Role
As Junior Legal Counsel, you will work closely with the Senior Legal Counsel based in Toulouse, providing proactive legal and business support to the La Palette Rouge division. You will be part of a dynamic Legal Department composed of two Senior Legal Counsels, one Junior Legal Counsel, and the General Counsel & Company Secretary.
Your mission is to act as a true business partner—offering pragmatic, solution-oriented legal guidance that supports both commercial objectives and compliance requirements across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
1. Legal & Business Support for La Palette Rouge
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements and legal documents.
- Provide day-to-day legal advice on commercial, corporate, and contractual matters.
- Support operational teams with clear, business-oriented legal guidance.
2. Group-Level Legal Activities
- Assist the General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsels with Group-wide legal initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of legal and compliance training.
- Support the maintenance and improvement of standard legal documentation.
- Participate in data protection compliance and corporate housekeeping activities.
3. Internal Networking & Legal Alignment
- Build strong relationships across departments and countries.
- Promote early legal involvement in business processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Help harmonize legal practices across the organization.
4. Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with the General Counsel & Company Secretary and the Senior Legal Counsels.
- Collaborate with staff departments and business teams across Europe.

Your Profile
Education & Experience
- Master’s degree in French law (e.g., Master 2 Droit des Affaires or equivalent).
- 1–5 years of experience in a reputable international law firm or in-house legal department within an international business environment.
Languages
- Fluent in French and English.A third language will be an asset (Spanish)
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Additional Requirements
- Strong generalist legal background in commercial, corporate, and contract law.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and deadlines with professionalism and resilience.
