Job Description

We are looking for a driven and dedicated Contact Center Team Leader to join our team in Gran Canaria.

About the position

As Contact Center Team Leader, you will be responsible for the operation and continuous development of our Contact Center. The role includes organizing and planning the team’s daily work while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, quality, sales, and productivity. You will lead and coach your team in their daily tasks and customer communication, providing guidance and support to help them perform at their best. Training of new staff members and upskilling of current team members is a big part of the role, in our expanding Contact Center. You will also take an active part in the operational work yourself.


You will work in close daily contact with Destination Managers and local partners in the Apollo destinations across the world. Your direct manager will be the Contact Center Manager

Skills & Requirements

You are organized, technically inclined, able to work independently, and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
You have a background in the service industry and have previously worked in a call center, customer service, or contact center — preferably in a team leader position.
You can communicate effectively in your native language as well as in one of the four Nordic languages and English, both spoken and written.
You are comfortable working with computers and systems and have good knowledge of the Microsoft Office enviroment.
You are administrative, detail-oriented, and possess strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and business value.


Merits / Preferred qualifications:

• Education within tourism or the travel industry
• Experience in leading teams.
• Experience as a Team Leader in a call center, contact center, or customer service environment
• Ability to communicate in more than one Nordic language
• Ability to communicate in Greek or Spanish
