Junior Analyst – Internal Control

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Analyst - Internal Control to join our team. This role will support the development and maintenance of strong internal controls, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. If you have strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a desire to grow in the field of risk management, we encourage you to apply!
This is what you will do
- Support process mapping and documentation of risks and controls.
- Perform routine internal control testing and document results and evidence.
- Monitor basic control and operational risk indicators and escalate deviations when needed.
- Follow up on action plans related to control gaps, non-compliance, and audit findings.
- Maintain internal control documentation, risk matrices, and process flows.
- Assist in preparing periodic internal controls reports.
- Support internal teams with questions related to procedures, controls, and policies.
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory requests by organizing documentation and evidence.
Skills & Requirements
Qualification & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Law, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of Central Bank regulations for Payment Institutions.
- Initial experience or internship in internal controls, audit, risk management, or compliance.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Collaborative mindset and clear communication skills.
- Native level of Portuguese and intermediate level in English.
