Role Overview
The Operations Executive will handle routine operational tasks, maintain records, and support the team in delivering smooth supply chain performance while ensuring compliance with T&G standards. The role will primarily focus on the Singapore market with occasional support for regional activities.
Job Description
Inventory & Quality Management
- Track daily inventory movements and report discrepancies, waste, and exceptions
- Coordinate with 3rd party QCs to maintain T&G quality standards
- Support FIFO stock rotation planning to minimize waste
- Document and communicate customer rejections, complaints, and quality issues
Operational Coordination
- Verify shipping documents and communicate container schedules, delivery timetables, and repacking instructions to 3PL providers
- Track order fulfillment and delivery schedules against plans
- Check and prepare 3PL invoices for approval
- Coordinate daily operational requirements with service providers
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain regular communication with 3PL partners on operational matters
- Escalate issues, delays, or concerns promptly to Operations Supervisor
Reporting & Data Management
- Collect and compile supply chain data (inventory, wastage, delivery times)
- Maintain accurate operational records and support data analysis with routine operational reports and dashboards
Health & Safety
- Report all incidents, accidents, hazards, and near misses following company H&S / food safety policies and procedures
Skills & Requirements
Skills & Requirements
Essential:
- Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain support role.
- Strong organization and coordination skills.
- Competent in Excel and MS Office applications.
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset, with willingness to escalate when needed.
- Proactive problem-solving with willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Undergraduate degree in relevant field.
- Experience in FMCG, fresh produce, or perishable supply chain.
- Familiarity with 3PL operations.
- Basic data analysis skills.
- Experience with SAP, NAV or relevant software.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
