Sales Support Executive

Role Overview

As a sales support analyst you would be the right hand for the regional manager to ensure all sales plans are met. This involves strategic thinking around focus channels, and also operational tasks to be the link between sales and operations tasks.

Job Description

  • Work with sales team to develop an annual customer demand plan, then monthly reviews in line with market feedback.
  • Collate this information for use in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and monitor results and report back to sales.
  • Be the key contact for input of demand volume/price into IBP using sales team data/guidance.
  • Use the monthly confirmed demand plan and/or allocation to update the sales and operations teams for day-to-day planning.
  • Monthly forecast – link from IBP and shipped reports from NAV to develop a delivery plan by Variety/Size/Grade/Location for customers.
  • Work to confirm exact sales delivery order details weekly, linking between operations and customers to deliver against demand plan.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure fulfilment of orders to plan.
  • Key communicator with customers regarding day-to-day orders against the agreed plan.
  • Prepare Sales trend, SoH, Promo/ marketing results for Manager to review.
  • Customer Weekly Orders, Payment follow ups, Rebates Invoicing.
  • Support Country Managers and Regional Manager on projects in translation and administration capacity.
  • Support Marketing Manager in administration / operational capacity for special projects.

Skills & Requirements

  • Undergraduate diploma or equivalent/ Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, supply chain management, or related field
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a sales administration role
  • Good English verbal and written
  • Experience in establishing systems
  • Previous experience in FMCG or fresh produce industry
  • Previous experience with customers
  • Willing to roll up sleeves and work on new initiatives
