K Group (K IT) is looking for Manager (Network and Voice Services) as part of a collaborative team of experts. At K Group we manage one of the largest retail networks in the Nordics and have a variety of network needs and solutions in different units across our business domains (Grocery trade, Building and technical trade and Car trade). Our team is responsible for the continuous service, upkeep and development of K Group networks to best facilitate and boost our retail and wholesale businesses. Most of the services are subcontracted from our partners.

About the role

Your main areas of responsibility will be network services for Building and Technical Trade business unit. The unit currently has business operations in the Nordic countries, i.e. Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark, in the Baltics and in Poland. Below are some of the responsibilities for this position:

  • Quality of network services deliveries and SLA fulfillment
  • Close collaboration with "can do" attitude with respective internal stakeholders in business, business IT and real estate units
  • Close budget and cost follow up of the services
  • Development of service delivery and vendor management practices
  • Validating and overseeing service provider actions, ensuring they meet quality standards and align with project and continuous services specifications.
  • Ensuring documentation, CMDB-data, asset and lifecycle management are professionally managed
  • Participating, together with the team, in Kesko Group level network design, architecture and network and security operations / management

You are an experienced network services professional, and you understand the importance of business-oriented end-to-end processes. You actively work towards common goals over organizational boundaries, and you are not afraid to bring out new perspectives. You are proactive in your communication style and get excited about creating something new and implementing change. You have the following qualities, skills or expertise:

Experience and background:

  • Experience in vendor / service provider service management
  • Understanding of network technologies and related projects
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in relevant field and/or at least 3 years working experience from ICT (esp. network area)
  • Experience in participating and preferably even leading network related projects to help our business units to succeed

General skills:

  • Fluent oral and written English and Finnish
  • Excellent communication and co-operation skills
  • Maintaining and creating network documentation is important to you, including guidelines and instructions
  • Proactive and independent ways of working, but work well in a team of experts

Availability:

  • Capability to occasionally travel to the retail sites is appreciated
  • Please note you will need the existing right to work in the country you apply for. Kesko is unable to sponsor work permits or visas.
