We are seeking an experienced HR Operations & Payroll Manager to join our global HR team in Stockholm. This hands-on, senior-level role reports directly to the CHRO and plays a key part in shaping and managing our global HR infrastructure.

You will oversee payroll, benefits, insurance, and pension administration across multiple countries through outsourced partners, ensuring compliance and accuracy for all employees worldwide, including those employed via Employer of Record (EOR) arrangements. In addition, you will lead our HR Coordinator team and establish scalable policies and processes to support our fast-growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

    • Responsible for the global end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless employee experience.
    • Lead the design of scalable HR operations processes that support our rapid growth.
    • Own vendor relationship management across HR operations (including payroll, benefits, EOR, insurances), ensuring service quality, compliance, and scalability.
    • Act as the company’s subject-matter expert on global employment compliance and payroll governance.
    • Ensure timely and accurate payroll through clear, compliant policies and effective documentation.
    • Manage and coordinate payroll across multiple countries via outsourced payroll providers.
    • Oversee global benefits, insurances, and pension administration.
    • Ensure accurate and timely pay for employees in EOR arrangements.
    • Supervise and mentor the HR Coordinator.
    • Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and systems to support a growing global workforce.
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in all operating countries.
    • Partner with leadership to support strategic HR initiatives and operational excellence.
    • Drive efficiency and scalability in HR operations while maintaining compliance.

Qualifications

Educational background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.

Professional experience

  • Solid expertise in global payroll processes and benefits administration across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless employee experience.
  • Experience of managing outsourced payroll providers.
  • Strong knowledge of global employment compliance and EOR arrangements.
  • Experience in HR operations, with a proven ability to design and implement HR policies and processes in a scaling organization.

Skills

  • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems; experience with HiBob is advantageous but not required.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating across cultures, teams, and geographies.
  • High AI readiness, with a willingness to leverage new technologies to optimize HR processes.

The role is based at our HQ in Stockholm. We believe the best collaboration happens in person, and we value the energy of working together. While we offer hybrid flexibility, this role is designed for someone who enjoys being onsite with the team most days. The role includes occasional international travel.
