Global Event Manager

We are looking for a Global Event Manager to lead the operational planning and execution of Nordberg Medical’s global events portfolio.

This role is central to delivering international congresses, brand experiences, and corporate events, translating strategic direction and creative vision into seamlessly executed experiences. If you are highly organized, thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy working behind the scenes to make big things happen, and have a sharp eye for detail, this role offers the opportunity to be a key pillar of a growing global events function, excelling in project management and corporate communication.

Your Role: Keep the Engine Running — With Precision

As Senior Global Event Manager, you will ensure Nordberg Medical’s global events operate smoothly and reliably. You will coordinate strategy, creative direction, logistics, vendors, budgets, timelines, and teams so that events are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

You will collaborate closely with the Strategic Marketing Project Director to bring strategies and creative concepts to life, taking ownership to ensure flawless execution by anticipating risks, managing details, and keeping stakeholders aligned from early planning through onsite delivery and post-event data collection.

Key Responsibilities

Event Execution & Project Management

  • Own the end-to-end operational lifecycle of global events, maintaining timelines, task lists, checklists, and master files.
  • Anticipate operational risks, dependencies, and resource needs to ensure a seamless attendee journey, delivering unique and outstanding experiences.
  • Support stakeholders and speakers throughout the event process, collaborating on agenda definition, content creation and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Logistics & Onsite Delivery

  • Manage all logistics, including venues, catering, AV, transport, accommodation, staffing, and materials.
  • Lead onsite execution with full engagement from beginning to end, ensuring every detail is managed.
  • Hire, brief, coordinate, and train temporary event staff.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Medical, Clinical, Digital, Legal, Finance, agencies, and vendors to ensure alignment and clear briefings.
  • Escalate risks, deviations, or complex operational issues to the Strategic Marketing Project Director in a timely manner.

Creative & Strategic Support

  • Collaborate with the Strategic Marketing Project Director to develop creative concepts and narratives, providing operational insight and execution-driven recommendations, while ensuring ideas are translated accurately into compliant and high-quality event assets.

Vendor & Budget Management

  • Liaise with vendors, negotiate costs, and ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Monitor budgets, track spend, reconcile invoices, and report variances on an ongoing basis.
  • Optimize costs while maintaining high-quality standards.

Digital Platforms, Data & Reporting

  • Manage event platforms (e.g., Cvent) in collaboration with the digital team, overseeing registrations, communications, agendas, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure accurate attendee data collection and provide post-event operational insights to support KPI and ROI analysis.

Department Setup & Best Practices

  • Contribute to the setup and evolution of the global events department through best practices, templates, SOPs, and scalable processes.
  • Help standardize tools and ways of working across regions to ensure efficiency, transparency, and audit readiness.

Experience & Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in global event management preferably within corporate, healthcare, pharma, or medical aesthetics fields.
