
We are looking for an Underwriter for our Oslo based Offshore Renewables team. You will join a world-leading specialized team of experienced risk engineers, underwriters and claims handlers. As an Offshore Renewables Underwriter you will have responsibility for risk assessment, underwriting negotiations, review of insurance contracts and servicing of Gard’s Offshore Renewables clients. The responsibility will include assessment of new construction projects as well as servicing existing operational windfarms and transmission assets. This role offers a unique opportunity to follow technological and commercial developments in the global offshore wind and wider renewables industry.
Working as an Underwriter in Gard you will be responsible for daily service delivery to selected insurance brokers and clients within your portfolio. You will also take part in marketing and sales of Gard’s broader range of insurance products.
Gard’s wider Energy team in Oslo provides insurance services to a global portfolio of clients within Oil and Gas and offshore renewable energy operations. The team has a broad base of clients from small niche companies to major international corporations.
This role is based in Oslo, but collaborating with other Gard colleagues globally. Traveling will be required in this role.
