Description of the team you will be joining; Schibsted has decided to move the Audience Targeting Engine team from London to Oslo into a new team called NATE (Nordic ATE).
The Audience Targeting Engine enables us to classify our users into different groups (a.k.a. segments), based on their online activity. Those segments can then be used for advertising, by helping deliver targeted ads that are relevant to our users. The technology we’re building will be used outside of advertising as well, in areas such as marketing, personalisation and experimentation. The team will play a central role in the Data Ecosystem for Schibsted.
Why join this team: Join a new team taking over a fully operational and highly capable data-driven product handling billions of events every week with single digit millisecond response times, built as a set of microservices. They work closely with data scientists building predictive models; Be part of self-organising groups that build and run their software with full control and ownership. Learn from your mistakes and from the mistake of others and strive for continuous improvement.
Application will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Communicate the best development practices within the organisation (i.e. code reviews, testing, etc).
