Concept Artist

Are you an awesome artist, passionate about making commercially successful games and creating the very best art to delight players? Awesome, we at the Battle Studio are looking for a talented Concept Artist to help us with current and upcoming titles.

The role is very broad and you should be ready to tackle a wide variety of tasks, ranging from creative challenges to implementation tricks.

The Battle Studio is focused on cutting-edge mid-core games. We’re working on an unannounced RPG game and a brand new IP. Be part of a senior team with a flat hierarchy and high ambitions where strong ideas, collaboration and commitment shine above all.

We envision someone whose creative output makes our team and players go bananas. You need a portfolio demonstrating your skills in 2D and 3D and a bottomless passion for excellent game art. You will be working closely with the other artists, designers and programmers to create unforgettable experiences for our fans.

Skills & Requirements

You'll fit in our team if you have:

  • Able to create fun, beautifully designed concepts and to produce high quality game assets based on these concepts.
  • Passionate about stylized characters and environments.
  • Able to adapt to existing style guides.
  • An expert in composition and color.
  • Enthusiastic about games.
  • Equipped with a proactive positive attitude and openly spreading your passion and knowledge, as well as able to receive feedback with humility.
  • Strong communication, organisational and team collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English

We’d love you to have these feathers in your cap:

  • Experience from the games industry and the process of taking a game all the way from concept to launch.
  • An understanding of the principles of 2D animation.
  • Expertise in Photoshop and Illustrator.
