The Workday Specialist's focus is to support the business needs of Scandic. You will be responsible for ensuring continuous surveillance of Scandic HR Systems and support development and maintenance of HR Processes and Systems, with a main focus on Workday. The role is a mix of future development, maintenance & support, as well as training. You will participate in relevant projects and manage own initiatives and/or projects when applicable. The role reports to the HR Development Director, in Group HR.
More about the role:
You will work with maintenance and support where you monitor and correct transactions in HR systems, mainly Workday, and facilitate the dependencies to other systems together with other stakeholders. You will work with relevant parties to ensure functional support is provided in a timely and qualitative manner and support bi-annual Workday upgrade process. You will act as second line/expert support when needed.
You will also work with future development and release planning. You will participate in HR system portfolio planning, proactively identify potential improvements in functionality and processes, and gather and prioritize functional requirements to support development. You will participate in release planning bi-weekly and support and/or drive configuration/development of functionality.
You will ensure that relevant end-user training is provided, taking into account new functionality in upcoming releases and ensure that people assigned to maintenance & support roles have sufficient information and/or training. You will regularly participate in Workday training and the annual customer event Workday Rising to build knowledge and network.
