Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven QA Tester based in Queretaro, Mexico. This role is primarily focused on designing and executing manual test case strategies, auditing test results, and ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of our software products. While the core responsibilities center around manual testing, experience or exposure to test automation tools is highly valued.
As part of our long-term vision, we are exploring the integration of AI-driven agents to enhance test automation and efficiency. Candidates with interest or familiarity in this area will have opportunities to contribute to innovative initiatives, though this is not a required skill for the role.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills and experience collaborating within Agile development teams.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform testing of assigned User Stories, Bugs, and Reactivations
- Design and implement manual and automated test cases
- Audit and maintain automated test results
- Functional/Integration/Stress/Volume testing.
- Identify, report, and track software bugs
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure timely issue resolution
- Ensure software meets defined quality and reliability standards

Skills & Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with a primary focus on web and/or mobile applications.
- Demonstrated ability to design, execute, and document manual and automated test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Hands-on experience or exposure to test automation tools such as Testim, Katalon, Selenium, or Cypress, with the ability to support or collaborate on automation efforts.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint ceremonies and defect triage.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Azure DevOps).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and commitment to quality.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong proficiency in manual testing, including test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
- Familiarity with test automation tools such as Testim, Katalon, Selenium, or Cypress, with the ability to support or collaborate on automation tasks.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing strategies, and the software development life cycle.
- Basic scripting knowledge in languages such as JavaScript or Java is a plus.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Azure DevOps).
- Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to design and work with AI-driven agents to enhance test automation and coverage
