Main goal

The Intelligence Operations Specialist will play a key role in supporting the Intelligence Expert in managing and enhancing UEFA’s intelligence capabilities. This position involves coordinating operations, managing data, engaging stakeholders and supporting the development and implementation of strategic intelligence tools and processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinating the daily operations of intelligence activities, ensuring the timely collection, analysis and sharing of safety and security information
  • Supporting the maintenance and development of the security incidents dashboard
  • Assisting in expanding and updating the clubs database by adding new clubs and supporter intelligence under the direction of the Intelligence Expert
  • Liaising with UEFA security officers, internal departments, football clubs, national associations, the NFIP network and law enforcement agencies to facilitate intelligence sharing and collaboration
  • Contributing to the preparation of bespoke reports and structured analytical outputs for internal and external stakeholders
  • Organising and supporting scenario-based exercises, workshops and forums in collaboration with the colleagues responsible for education
  • Monitoring and evaluating intelligence workflows to identify areas for improvement and innovation
  • Supporting risk assessments by collecting important information and assisting in the preparation of match-specific briefings
  • Monitoring and recording intelligence trends to inform long-term strategic planning and reporting
  • Maintaining well-structured documentation outlining intelligence processes, tools and procedures to support operational continuity and effective knowledge transfer

Skills & Requirements

Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years in security management, intelligence analysis or a related field, ideally within a sports, law enforcement or international organisation
  • Experience with data systems and analytical tools

Languages:

  • English / Proficient
  • Additional European languages are an asset

Other requirements:

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesise complex information into actionable insights
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Trusted team player with a strong sense of discretion and responsibility
  • Proactive and adaptable, able to respond quickly to evolving situations and shifting priorities
  • Familiarity with open source intelligence tools or social media monitoring platforms is a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-risk environment
