We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Senior Associate to strengthen our growing audit team in Stellenbosch. In this role, you will contribute to high-quality audit delivery for (primarily) Dutch clients and play an important part in maintaining a cohesive, collaborative team environment across South Africa and the Netherlands.

Your role
As Senior Associate Audit, you take ownership of complex audit areas, support the planning and coordination of engagements and provide guidance to less experienced team members. You communicate effectively with colleagues in both Stellenbosch and the Netherlands and contribute to a positive and structured team dynamic.
Responsibilities
Audit & quality
- Execute audit procedures independently on significant and complex areas.
- Contribute to risk assessments and identify relevant findings.
- Ensure all documentation is processed accurately and in line with internal and regulatory standards.
- Support a complete and high-quality audit file.
Team support & development
- Provide coaching and day-to-day support to (Junior) Associates.
- Encourage knowledge sharing and contribute to a constructive team environment.
- Help maintain a culture of professionalism, open communication and mutual support.
Communication & coordination
- Communicate clearly with colleagues regarding progress, issues and deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with Dutch team members to ensure alignment and consistent audit quality.
- Participate in client meetings and translate outcomes into actionable tasks.

Your profile
You are technically capable, organised and value teamwork. You take pride in delivering thorough and reliable work and help create a professional and supportive team environment.
You offer:
- CA(SA) qualification.
- 6+ years of relevant audit experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of audit processes and ability to handle complex areas.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team cohesion.
Experience with Dutch GAAP or Dutch auditing standards is an advantage but not required.
