About the position

As a Generalist Accountant (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the proper handling of all accounting processes in the areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting. You will assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and contribute to smooth financial reporting.

Your main responsibilities

    1. General ledger accounting (GL)

    • Maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers.
    • Creation and posting of provisions, accruals, and adjustments.
    • Assistance with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS (HGB at year-end).
    • Support in the preparation of financial reports and evaluations.
    • Collaboration with external auditors and internal auditors.

    2. Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Recording and monitoring customer invoices.
    • Reconciliation of open items and regular dunning.
    • Clarification of payment differences in collaboration with sales and customer service.

    3. Accounts Payable (AP)

    • Checking, assigning, and posting incoming invoices.
    • Preparing and executing payment transactions.
    • Reconciling supplier accounts and clarifying discrepancies.

    4. Other tasks

    • Supporting internal and external audits.
    • Collaborating on the improvement and digitization of processes.
    • Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and legal regulations.

Skills & Requirements

A suitable background would be the following in terms of qualifications and experiences:

  • Completed commercial training with further training in accounting (e.g., balance sheet accountant) or a degree in business administration.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in an international environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of HGB; knowledge of IFRS is an advantage.
  • Confident use of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, MS D365, MS Axapta, Mediusflow) and MS Excel.
  • Strong affinity for numbers, accuracy, and structured approach to work.
  • Ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility, and discretion.
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills.

Als Generalist Buchhaltung (m/w/d) sind Sie verantwortlich für die ordnungsgemäße Abwicklung aller buchhalterischen Prozesse im Bereich Debitoren-, Kreditoren- und Hauptbuchhaltung. Sie unterstützen bei Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen, stellen die Einhaltung gesetzlicher Vorschriften sicher und tragen zu einer reibungslosen Finanzberichterstattung bei.

Hauptaufgaben:

1. Hauptbuchhaltung (GL)

  • Pflege und Abstimmung der Hauptbuchkonten und Nebenbücher.
  • Erstellung und Buchung von Rückstellungen, Abgrenzungen und Korrekturen.
  • Mitwirkung bei Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen nach IFRS (HGB zum Jahresende).
  • Unterstützung bei der Erstellung von Finanzberichten und Auswertungen.
  • Zusammenarbeit mit Wirtschaftsprüfern sowie internen Auditoren.

2. Debitorenbuchhaltung (AR)

  • Erfassung und Überwachung von Kundenrechnungen.
  • Abstimmung offener Posten und regelmäßiges Mahnwesen.
  • Klärung von Zahlungsdifferenzen in Zusammenarbeit mit Vertrieb und Kundenservice.

3. Kreditorenbuchhaltung (AP)

  • Prüfung, Kontierung und Buchung von Eingangsrechnungen.
  • Vorbereitung und Durchführung des Zahlungsverkehrs.
  • Abstimmung von Lieferantenkonten und Klärung von Differenzen.

4. Weitere Aufgaben

  • Unterstützung bei internen und externen Audits.
  • Mitarbeit bei der Verbesserung und Digitalisierung von Prozessen.
  • Sicherstellung der Einhaltung interner Richtlinien und gesetzlicher Vorschriften.

Qualifikationen und Anforderungen:

  • Abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung mit Weiterbildung im Rechnungswesen (z. B. Bilanzbuchhalter) oder betriebswirtschaftliches Studium.
  • 3–5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Finanzbuchhaltung, idealerweise in einem internationalen Umfeld.
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in HGB; IFRS-Kenntnisse von Vorteil.
  • Sicherer Umgang mit ERP-Systemen (z. B. SAP, MS D365, MS Axapta, Mediusflow) und MS Excel.
  • Hohe Zahlenaffinität, Genauigkeit und strukturierte Arbeitsweise.
