Main goal

Your goal is to ensure the smooth journey of media stakeholders (press, photographers, video journalists, radio and TV non-rights holders) from their registration in the UEFA Media Channel, their media validation in the system, and eventually, accreditation and match booking requests to on-site attendance.

Key responsibilities

  • Overseeing the registration of bona fide Press, Photographers, Video Journalists, Radio & TV Non-Rights holders in the UEFA Media Portal
  • Ensuring an efficient accreditation and match booking media application process, in close liaison with UEFA ICT
  • Establishing documentation and standard operational processes that will be used by our counterparts, such as Press Officers, Onsite & Offsite staff, media representatives etc.
  • Coordinating the event-specific media stakeholders access needs with UEFA Accreditation and Access
  • Coordinating the media requests approval and rejection process with UEFA Communications as well as other internal stakeholders.
  • Answering the emails received from media representatives in a professional and client-centric approach
  • Assisting with the on-site delivery of media operations and services as required (Club and National Team Finals, Final Tournaments, Draws, etc.)
  • Applying the latest ICT developments to media services processes

Skills & Requirements

Requirements

Experience:

  • Experience in event management where serving clients with high expectations is key and/or venue management in football or other sport
  • Good writing skills, including the ability to draft policies, guidelines and workflows

Education:

  • Bachelors' degree within the media environment, business management or sports/event management

Languages:

  • English / Advanced

Other requirements:

  • Knowledge of and interest in the sports media landscape in general, and particularly in football
  • Ability to provide outstanding results under pressure
  • Attention to details combined with the ability to see the big picture
  • The ability to work independently and reliably with precision and respecting confidentiality and multicultural concerns
  • A solution-oriented team player who is resilient, driven, amiable, energetic, diplomatic and charismatic with a positive outlook
