Application Support Engineer (M/F/NB)

At Etteplan, we believe that technology only makes sense when it truly supports people. Our Technical Communication & Documentation Solutions department creates solutions that help industrial companies manage technical information and support processes in a simple, secure, and efficient way. We combine engineering knowledge with modern IT tools to support global manufacturers in maintaining systems, documentation, and processes. This enables our clients to operate faster, in compliance with standards, and fully digitally.

We approach problem-solving with Finnish simplicity – without unnecessary layers and complicated procedures. What matters is collaboration, trust, and the joint search for better ways of working.

This time we are looking for people for the newly established department, for the position of Application Support Engineer.

Why is it worth it?
This role is a unique opportunity to combine technical knowledge with real impact on support processes in an international environment. You will work with systems that are key to managing technical documentation and processes in global companies.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Administration and maintenance of systems supporting documentation processes (CCMS and CDP systems, like Ixiasoft and Fluidtopics),
  • Handling tickets in ticketing systems (Jira, Salesforce Service Cloud), SLA configuration, reporting,
  • User support in documentation tools and test environments (to be confirmed),
  • Creating and updating technical documentation related to support processes,
  • Cooperation with IT and system provider teams in problem-solving and process optimisation.

You are someone we are looking for if:

  • Have experience in system administration (Windows, Linux) and software installation
  • Are comfortable using the command line (CLI) and automating tasks with scripts,
  • Know how to work with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Salesforce Service Cloud),
  • Can set up and maintain test environments, plan resources, and coordinate updates,
  • Handle backups, recovery, and system health checks efficiently,
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically – you can explain technical topics in a simple, user-friendly way,
  • You speak English (C1) and Polish (B2) at a level that allows you to communicate freely.

We will also appreciate:

  • Have some knowledge of XML, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript,
  • Bring experience in process audits, optimization, or automation,
  • Have experience in mentoring or training team members.

At Etteplan, you can count on:

  • Development through working in an international environment and diverse projects, sharing knowledge within competency groups,
  • A training budget and building an individual development path during regular meetings with your manager – based on a defined career model enabling vertical and horizontal advancement,
  • Benefits such as private healthcare with Medicover, a Multisport card, group life insurance, and subsidized meals,
  • Flexibility in terms of working hours and forms of cooperation, with access to offices in Wrocław or Katowice,
  • Team bonding during company events, office events, sporting competitions, and charity events,
  • Technological and hobby inspirations, related to well-being and soft skills discussed during internal Friday's Coffee seminars; and the opportunity to join various off-topic channels and grassroots initiatives (mountain climbing, board games, pub quizzes, winter swimming).

How does the recruitment process work?

  1. Send us your CV in English, including your salary expectations, preferred form of cooperation, and availability in the form.
  2. Application analysis – we will review your application and check the fit for the role.
  3. HR interview (online) – a meeting with our HR team (approx. 40–60 minutes) to get to know each other better.
  4. Technical interview (online) – a conversation with an engineer or team leader about system administration, ticketing, troubleshooting, and ITIL basics (approx. 60 min).
  5. Meeting with your future manager (offline) – a discussion about your role in the team, working style, and mutual expectations (approx. 30 min).
  6. Feedback – after the interview, you will receive feedback within 2 weeks. Welcome to Etteplan!
