We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Service Technician (Marine). This position reports to the Account Manager, Marine Taiwan and will be based in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
About the Position
As a Service Technician in the APAC Marine team, you will play a hands‑on role in delivering technical service and product support to Dometic customers in Taiwan. You will be responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair tasks, ensuring that our OEM and after‑market customers receive best‑in‑class service. This role places you at the forefront of customer satisfaction and product reliability, while strengthening Dometic’s reputation in the marine industry.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Attend to on‑site service requirements, including system commissioning, sea trials, and troubleshooting for OEM customers.
- Carry out inspections and repairs of Dometic products for after‑market customers in Taiwan.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with OEMs and distributors.
- Gather and relay customer feedback, product insights, and competitive information to the Account Manager for Taiwan.
- Work closely with the Account Manager and Service Manager to evaluate warranty claims and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service across multiple marine product categories.

Experience & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should bring a strong foundation in technical service and marine engineering, along with the following experience and qualifications:
- Diploma or professional certification in Marine Engineering or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in the marine or leisure boat building industry.
- Proactive and strong communication skills to work with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Initiative, self‑motivation, and the ability to work independently with attention to detail.
- Problem‑solving mindset, hands‑on approach, and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Mandarin, with basic English communication skills (spoken and written).
