Do something that moves you:
- Operate pack line machinery or assist with formulation tasks under supervision, with a goal of achieving full competence.
- Rotate through various tasks across multiple sheds to develop cross-skilling and operational flexibility.
- Learn and implement clean-down processes, changeover procedures, and bulk/batch sheet completion.
- Read and follow the production plan to align tasks with daily production goals.
- Understand escalation processes for addressing equipment or process issues.
- Attain competency as an end-of-line packing operator, ensuring products meet stringent quality and packaging standards.
- Train on operating packing lines (e.g., Mewes/Bulk Fillers) under supervision.
- Master clean-down and changeover processes for packing equipment to ensure efficiency for subsequent production runs.
- A background in packaging, chemical production, FMCG manufacturing, or similar industries is preferred.
- Completed School Certificate Year 11 or TAFE equivalent, demonstrating strong reading, writing, literacy, and numeracy skills.
- Cert IV in Competitive Manufacturing Excellence or equivalent is highly desirable
- Have a positive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to work safely in a production environment.
- A team player who communicates effectively and fosters a collaborative culture.
- Willingness to take ownership of your role and support team accountability.
- Physical ability to work on your feet for extended periods and operate production machinery.
