Role Purpose

WithSecure is building a new internal integration capability — and we’re looking for someone to take the lead.

This is both a hands-on technical and strategic leadership role. You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering integrations across our systems and platforms, leading external partners who will help with the initial setup, and developing internal skills and capacity so that we can manage integrations ourselves over time.

You’ll set standards, define best practices, and help shape what integration looks like at WithSecure as we grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations using MuleSoft and AWS technologies.
• Define and document integration patterns, standards, and architecture that support scalability and security.
• Work with external vendors or consultants to deliver integration projects and ensure effective knowledge transfer to internal teams.
• Establish processes and tools for integration monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Help grow internal capability by mentoring and supporting team members in learning integration tools and practices.
• Act as the technical lead and main point of contact for integration-related topics within projects.
• Collaborate with product, IT, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver reliable, secure solutions.
• Contribute to building an integration roadmap and capability plan for the future.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

• 5+ years of experience in integration development, engineering, or architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft and AWS integration tools (e.g., API Gateway, Lambda, S3).
• Solid understanding of integration patterns (APIs, messaging, ETL, event-driven).
• Practical experience with REST/SOAP APIs, data transformation, and middleware platforms.
• Competent in Python, Java, or JavaScript for scripting and custom development.
• Experience managing or leading external partners or consultants.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills — able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong proficiency in AI technologies and tools.
• Proven experience in applying AI solutions to solve real-world business or technical challenges.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI-driven initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and continuous learning mindset to keep up with evolving AI technologies.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other integration tools such as Dell Boomi, Azure Integration Services, or Kafka.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and DevOps processes.
