We’re seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team in Helsinki. In this role, you’ll be improving our developer experience (DevEx) by building the tools and foundations that help our engineering teams work more smoothly and efficiently.
As part of our Architecture & Platforms organization, you’ll shape how developers work across F-Secure by building our internal developer portal, automating workflows and integrating key tools and services. Your work will support hundreds of engineers globally and help them focus on building secure products for millions of users.
This role blends hands-on full-stack work with improving developer workflows. You’ll help build the tools and foundations that make development easier, quicker and more reliable.

Your day-to-day may include:
- Designing and developing our internal developer portal that becomes the central hub for engineering productivity, providing self-service capabilities, documentation and tooling access
- Automating developer workflows end-to-end, reducing manual steps and improving the path from code commit to deployment
- Integrating tools and services across our technology stack so that development, testing and deployment processes work smoothly together
- Championing developer experience by gathering feedback, measuring satisfaction and improving the tools and processes that support everyday engineering work
- Building and maintaining CI/CD services for developer for enabling fast and reliable deployments.
- Building and supporting container-based foundations for development teams, ensuring consistent and reproducible environments
What are we looking for?
- Strong full-stack development background with hands-on experience in modern technologies like Node.js and React, enabling you to build comprehensive developer tools
- Interest and experience in improving developer experience, tooling and automation
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tooling including experience with platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar, with ability to design and optimize complex pipelines
- Experience building and maintaining software that runs in containers, and familiarity with container-first development
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with engineering teams
Bonus points for:
- Experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience building developer portals using platforms like Backstage or similar
- Background in platform engineering or DevOps roles in security-focused organizations
- Contributions to open-source developer tools or internal tooling projects
