Boot Maker
We are seeking a skilled Boot Maker to join our team at Hudson Talent Solutions. As a Boot Maker, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality, custom-made boots using traditional techniques and materials. Your attention to detail, craftsmanship, and ability to work with clients to understand their needs will be essential in this role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Measuring and fitting clients to ensure a comfortable and personalized fit
- Selecting appropriate materials, such as leather, suede, and other textiles, to create the desired boot design
- Cutting, stitching, and assembling the boot components with precision
- Finishing the boots with polishing, conditioning, and other finishing touches
- Providing excellent customer service and collaborating with clients to meet their specific requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in boot making or a related field, with a strong understanding of traditional boot-making techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for quality
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address any challenges that may arise during the boot-making process
- Effective communication skills to work closely with clients and understand their needs
