Senior BI Developer

This role within Group IT focuses on building and maintaining data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and tabular models to support analytics and integrations. You’ll collaborate with business, DataOps, and analysts using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, SQL, and dbt Core in an agile, data-driven environment.

Location: Any Kubota location

Build data warehouses: working with extracted raw data from multiple systems and
transforming it into datasets for analytical, reporting and integration purposes

  • Work as part of a team collaborating on development and adhering to workflows and best
    practices
  • Support ETL processes end-to-end
  • Ensure data accuracy and reliability
  • Collaborate with data analysts and business to model datasets
  • Collaborate with DataOps to configure ETL pipelines and setting up new extractions and
    integrations
  • Developing complex tabular models and writing advanced DAX
    Technology stack: Microsoft (Fabric, Azure, SQL), dbt Core

Skills & Requirements

  • Skilled in SQL scripting
  • Skilled in tabular modelling and building datawarehouses
  • Experienced in supporting ETL/ELT processes and systems
  • Familiar with dbt Core and development in VS Code
  • Familiar with CI/CD and gitflow
  • Familiar with cloud-based platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and Azure
  • Familiar with ERP systems
  • Familiar with Power BI
  • Experienced in PowerShell/Python and an understanding of key concepts in software development
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Professional fluency in English
  • Familiar with Scrum and working agile
