Through working with our most important clients across the region, including discovering the business needs and challenges, providing consulting strategy, ensuring they launch Meltwater successfully, adopt it widely and are continually driving business value from Meltwater. About Key Account Executive

As a key Account Executive, you will be at the cutting edge of the media intelligence space by driving strategy and widespread product adoption among a small portfolio of our high yield and high potential clients. You will challenge existing norms within our industry and act not only as an expert in Meltwater's product set, but as an extension of our clients communication and marketing teams. You will be a part of Meltwater's growing account management team, a group of our most highly skilled and most engaging employees. This role is based in Hong Kong and cover clients in Greater China.

What you will be doing?

  • Working closely with Managing Director to manage a portfolio of around 20-45 of Meltwater’s Greater China clients with the largest spend and largest growth potential

  • Build positive, long-lasting relationships through customer engagement with numerous product offerings to increase value and drive market share

  • Provide assistance and support to clients for incoming queries and issues related to our applications

  • Pro-actively identifying issues that may impact a renewal, and engaging all available resources to resolve

  • Collaborate with Managing Director to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and inform decision-making at the C-suite level

  • Inform and drive knowledge by challenging the status quo across traditional and social channels

  • Coach clients to be product experts and train their teams on Meltwater methodologies so they become increasingly self-sufficient

Skills & Requirements

What we would like to see from you

  • University Degree of any disciplines with strong academic results

  • 1-4 years of solution sales, account management or relevance experience (enterprise sales or key account management preferred) in the area of Saas, cloud services, management consulting or in the complex business environment

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin (mandatory)

  • Ability to develop a strong relationship at operational and executive levels

  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced work environment and to demonstrate thoughtful leadership in assessing problems/opportunities and recommending an approach to solving problems and pursuing opportunities.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment

  • Passion and commitment to customer success

  • An open-minded, positive, target driven, self-starter with natural leadership qualities
