As our Quality Engineer at Strohm, you’ll help us deliver top-quality products and continuously improve how we work.
You’ll combine hands-on product understanding with data-driven analysis, using Lean principles and the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) approach to turn insights into real improvements.
In this role, you will:
- Analyze quality data, formulate KPI’s, spot improvement opportunities, and drive change.
- Perform quality checks and product releases to deepen your understanding of our products and processes.
- Lead Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and collaborate across teams, suppliers, and clients.
- Develop and improve procedures aligned with ISO 9001 and API Spec Q1 standards.
- Providing training, sharing lessons learned, and keeping quality top of mind.
- Create and review Test plans and quality documentation.
Apply your problem-solving skills to a wide range of issues while maintaining a constructive working relationship with parties involved. You’ll directly influence quality, efficiency, and cost — and have room to grow into roles like Senior Quality Engineer, Project Engineer, or Project Manager.
Skills & Requirements
Skills:
- BSc degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 3-5 years of experience, ideally with ISO 9001 or in manufacturing/offshore supply.
- Analytical, detail-focused, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong communicator across all levels — from shop floor to management, from supplier to customer.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
