As a Destination Manager, you are the face of Apollo, dedicated to turning our customers' vacation dreams into reality. You are the prime responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations at your destination, ensuring both high customer satisfaction and sales performance. Leading your team effectively, you ensure that all destination activities align with Apollo’s goals, directives, and guidelines. Your role includes various administrative tasks, such as managing the destination’s budget, maintaining quality standards, and updating local marketing materials. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with local stakeholders, including hotels, suppliers, and other partners. You will report directly to one of the Regional Managers.
What we’re looking for:
A natural sense of service is crucial for this role. As the first point of contact for customers, you will respond to their questions, fulfil their wishes, and enhance their overall experience. To be successful as a Destination Manager, you should be responsible, business-minded, organized, and possess strong organizational and leadership skills. You should have excellent verbal and written communication abilities, along with a strong customer focus and a solution-oriented mindset.
A university degree, experience in managing staff, extended stays abroad, and prior work in the travel industry are additional qualifications that can make your application stand out as a perfect fit for this position.
