Group Financial Services team is looking for Financial Controller to join the energetic and change-driven team of experts. You will have a key role in providing comprehensive financial reporting and your specific area of responsibility is Building and Technical trade -division controlling and reporting according to monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles.
As a team member you will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance and process development within Building and Technical trade companies in Finland and in other operating countries. In addition, you will participate in division and group level projects which relate to for example corporate restructuring, process development or finance IT systems. You will work closely with K Finance professionals in all businesses and operating countries.
What we expect from you:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance
- Five to ten years of relevant work experience in financial accounting and financial controlling
- Knowledge of financial reporting requirements for a listed company
- Proficiency with relevant IT systems and tools (SAP, HFM, MS Office)
- Good communication skills and fluent written and spoken Finnish and English, Swedish is seen as an asset
- Proactive and systematic way of working and hunger for continuous improvement
- Resilience and absolute sense of responsibility
- Experience in the areas of group accounting and applying IFRS standards in preparation of consolidated financial statements in an advantage

The work will begin as agreed, and the position is a full-time permanent employment. The recruitment is carried out in cooperation with StaffPoint, and the selected person will be employed directly by Kesko.
This position can be based in either Tampere or Helsinki. We follow a flexible hybrid working model.
