Do you want to help shape the financial story behind tomorrow’s digital infrastructure? Are you motivated by turning financial insights into real business impact and working closely with stakeholders to drive performance?
We’re looking for a Business Controller to join our Business Finance NetCo team. This role offers a broad scope of responsibilities across financial planning, performance management, and strategic support to one of the most critical areas of our business.
Help drive performance in NetCo
As a Business Controller, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our financial planning, reporting, and decision-making processes are solid, smart, and aligned with our long-term ambitions. You’ll be responsible for areas across opex and capex in both our technology and commercial business units, with the potential to gain ownership of large-scale projects and/or revenue segments.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders across NetCo to provide transparency, challenge assumptions, and support value-creating decisions. With a focus on performance, profitability, and cash flow, you’ll help us prioritize the right initiatives and secure financial clarity across the board.
Your closest colleagues will be a Nordic team of finance professionals who work hybrid across locations. You'll report to the Director, NetCo & Support Functions Business Controlling and be part of a collaborative, cross-border environment where financial insights help guide real-world decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Full ownership of financial planning and follow-up across opex and capex
·Budgeting, forecasting, and monthly book close and reporting
·Developing and maintaining financial models and dashboards
·Driving improvements in financial processes and tools
·Supporting business boards and investment cases with financial insights
·Conducting ad hoc analysis to identify performance drivers and assess risks
·Acting as a trusted business advisor to stakeholders across NetCo
To bring value from day one, we think you have:
·3+ years of experience in business controlling, FP&A, or a similar analytical role
·A master’s degree in finance or similar, or equivalent experience
·Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving
·Familiarity with Power BI and financial processes in at least one Nordic market is a plus
You can be based in Copenhagen, Stockholm, or Oslo — and we work in a hybrid setup where collaboration is key, but flexibility is real. Some travel within the Nordics may occur.
Why join the GlobalConnect Finance team?
This role gives you the chance to work close to the business, support strategic decisions, and help develop financial systems and models. You’ll be part of a collaborative and informal finance team that spans across the Nordics, where knowledge sharing and learning from each other is central.
This is a unique opportunity to become part of impactful business cases that shape both your growth and the company’s future. GlobalConnect is a company with real impact — we build and operate the digital infrastructure that keeps society connected.
You don’t need to send a personal letter unless there’s something you want us to know that isn’t in your CV or LinkedIn profile. We’re just looking forward to getting to know you.
