S4 Hana (Manufacturing) Business Analyst

The Business Analyst will play a critical role in the S4 Hana ERP Migration Program within the Manufacturing Tower. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring that the new ERP system aligns with the operational needs of the manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both business operations and technology, enabling them to bridge the gap between technical teams and business users. The Business Analyst will be responsible for facilitating process improvements, supporting testing and training efforts, and contributing to the overall success of the migration project.

As a business analyst you will be responsible for:

Requirements Gathering:

oCollaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for the S4 Hana ERP migration.

oConduct workshops and interviews to understand current processes and identify areas for improvement.

Process Mapping:

oDevelop and maintain process maps and documentation to visualize current and future state processes within the Manufacturing Tower.

oEnsure alignment between business processes and S4 Hana functionalities.

Solution Design:

oWork closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications for the S4 Hana system.

oAssist in the design of solutions that optimize manufacturing operations and enhance overall efficiency.

Testing and Validation:

oDevelop test plans and test cases to validate that the S4 Hana implementation meets business requirements.

oCoordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders and document results.

Training and Support:

oCreate training sessions for end-users to ensure effective adoption of the new system.

oProvide ongoing support and troubleshooting during and after the migration process.

Change Management:

oAssist in change management activities to ensure a smooth transition to the new ERP system.

oCommunicate updates and gather feedback from users throughout the migration process.

Skills & Requirements

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong experiences in an industrial business environment.
  • Experience determining the explicit and implicit needs and requirements of various stakeholders.
  • Ability to quickly learn the objectives, structures, operations and policies of a new business area.
  • Strong problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes.
  • Proven interpersonal skills and an ability to influence senior leaders and peers.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to run interviews, workshops, surveys, site visit, storyboards etc…
  • Experience creating documentation such as business case documentation or business requirements summaries.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills
  • High level in business English.
  • Experience with S4 Hana or similar ERP systems is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Higher education in a relevant area i.e. Business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, IT/Technology, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis.
  • Background in manufacturing industry.
  • Business analysis certification is preferred.
