Plant Controller

We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Plant Controller within our Finance capability. This position reports to Business Unit Controller and will work in our Greenbrier, TN, Dometic Location.

About the position

As a Plant Controller in the Finance team, you will serve as a key member of the plant leadership team, responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting operational excellence. This role acts as the financial business partner to plant operations, providing strategic insights, cost control, and decision support to achieve corporate objectives.

Your main responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Reporting

  • Lead all aspects of plant-level financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial results to plant and divisional leadership
  • Analyze variances, trends, and KPIs to support data-driven decisions
  • Ensure consistency and transparency in financial reporting across manufacturing sites

        Cost Management & Operational Support

        • Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and standard costing processes
        • Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement
        • Support capital expenditure planning and ROI analysis
        • Monitor and improve internal controls related to manufacturing and inventory
        • Proactive cost management and financial control of the facility, ensuring we are making timely decisions to minimize and reduce costs.

                Compliance & Controls

                • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, IFRS, and internal control standards
                • Serve as primary contact for internal and external audits
                • Maintain documentation and processes to support all compliance procedures

                    Strategic Collaboration

                    • Act as liaison between plant operations and corporate finance
                    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational strategies
                    • Provide financial coaching and guidance to non-finance managers

                    Skills & Requirements

                    A suitable background would be a solid experience within manufacturing, as well as the following qualifications and experiences:

                    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
                    • Experience: Progressive experience in manufacturing finance along with ERP (D365 and AS400 preferred) experience and advanced Excel skills. PowerBI experience preferred.
